Here is something for now. I promise to make a new and better post this weekend.

Our trip to Florida was wonderful!! Great weather, fun and relaxation the whole time. We really enjoyed spending time with each other, Tom's parents, Robyn and her family! Like always the vaca. went by too fast.

One of my favorite parts was floating in the heated outdoor pool with Tom and baby girl! It was amazing, I didn't even feel pregnant!:)

How your baby's growing:

"This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. She's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and her skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as her brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood."

How your life's changing:

"As your baby fills out even more of your belly, lots of things might start to change: Whereas before you were sashaying, you may find yourself waddling. Finding an easy position to sit in — let alone sleep — is becoming more of a challenge. And bumping into chairs and counters is par for the course."

One more week until I hit the big 30 week mark. We are all doing great, but I am starting to get more tired, esp by the end of the day. I am going to have to cut back on work, it's getting hard massaging people all day long! My ligament is better, but still bothers me on and off. The baby is getting bigger and running out of room!

We are so excited about our vacation to Florida next week!! We leave Wed. evening and come back Mon. evening. I can't wait for some fun in the sun!:)

How your baby's growing:

"Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for her developing brain. To meet her increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because her bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day."

Wow! I am 6 months and finally in my 3rd trimester!! I don't know why I am excited, this is when I will be getting my biggest and most uncomfortable, but it will all be worth it when I finally get to see my little sweetie pie!

I had to go in for an emergency prenatal visit last Tue. due to abdominal pain and the baby wasn't moving much.

Don't worry it's nothing serious, I did to much over the weekend and they said I pulled a the left round ligament attachment of the uterus. The baby is fine, she is just taking it easy. They put me on the fetal monitor for 20min and tracked her heart rate and fetal movements. She said nothing was out of the ordinary and the baby seems just fine. I just have to take it easy and rest, so I took some time off of work and feel much better. I also got my glucose test results back and my blood work is normal. That's a relief!

Tom & I got sick with a cold, but got over it pretty quickly. We are very lucky it wasn't one of the more nasty bugs going around. I can't wait for spring so we can be done with this sick season!!

How your baby's growing:

"By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world."

I am sorry I am falling behind on my entries. This was for last Friday. I will give a full update in this weeks post on Fri. or Sat.

How your baby's growing:

"This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle."
