Hi all,
I am still doing good. I started prenatal yoga and love it! My teacher makes it so much fun. I got a great deal on the classes too. It's just $40 for 8 sessions, one session a week! There at the hospital that I used to work at and it's only 10min away from my place.
Tom is doing well too. He just started his last 2 classes of his masters program in Electrical Engineering at Johns Hopkins. He'll be graduating in the begging of May, just in time for the baby's arrival! He has class every Mon. and Tue. night so we won't get to see each other as much, but it will all be worth it in the end.
We are also really excited about our "babymoon" we planned. We are staying at Tom's parents condo near Port Charlotte, Florida from March 11th-16th! We tried to plan it for this month, but it didn't work out. We got a great deal on the tickets because I had a free flight from SWA's rapid rewards! We have never been to FL before and are really looking forward to getting away. We have had a lot of cold and icy weather hear and are glad we are going somewhere warm!
How your baby's growing:
"Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts her at just over a pound. Since she's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), she cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but her body is filling out proportionally and she'll soon start to plump up. Her brain is also growing quickly now, and her taste buds are continuing to develop. Her lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help her air sacs inflate once she hits the outside world. Her skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon."
Note: "Every baby develops a little differently even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development."
