I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since I gave birth to Leanna! She is getting so big!! There are new videos on youtube and new pictures on the web album so check them out! Her smiles are getting bigger and she is laughing more and more. The other week she had her first belly laugh episode. It was so silly because it was just over me folding laundry. It was so cute and I wish I had gotten it on video! She is also getting ticklish now and I found a sweet spot under her arm! She is such a blessing and a true angel baby. She eats well, sleeps well and hardly ever cries!
We took Leanna camping again over Labor day weekend with my cousin Maura and our friend Karina. We decided not to take the pop-up this time and got a big cabin instead. It was loads of fun esp. since the weather was so beautiful. There are pictures of it on the album. We are going camping one more time in October with the pop-up and we can't wait!

We love being parents and will definitely get pregnant again in the future. Some people say that because Leanna is so good are next one wont be, but we’re not listing to that. That’s a bunch of bull in my opinion and too negative of a thought bases for me. If we can have one good baby there is no reason we can’t have another one esp. since I am going to do everything exactly the same during my next pregnancy.
Some of you might not know that Leanna has had problems with her neck since birth. Nothing too sever, but it seems she received some kind of muscular trauma during birth. Probably due to her hand being by her face when I pushed her out. Ouch! There doesn't seem to be any permanent damage so that's a huge relief. I have had to do Physical Therapy and Massage with her at home, which has helped a lot and she goes to my Chiropractor for adjustments as well.
Because of this issue, she had to go back to her pediatrician at 3 months for a review. She said she is doing much better, but still is behind with the neck control and strength, but should catch up in the next month. Everything else is great though. She seems to be above average with all the other developmental skills! She is long and lean, weighing in at 12 lbs 3oz which is in the 50th percentile and 25" long which is in the 95th percentile. The Dr. said she's going to be tall, so I guess she didn't get my shorty genes.
She has her 4th month check up this week so wish us luck. I am going to try to post more often so I can keep everyone updated. Wish me luck!
